Having been delayed for a couple of months due to some negative consumer feedback, the MG6 four-door Saloon model has now taken over the social media scene. The first photos of the ₤17.000 Focus rivaling MG have been posted on the British firm's facebook page. The MG6 Saloon is scheduled to land in UK showrooms this summer, a few months after the first batch of MG6 fastback's reach their owners.
The Saloon is pinned on the same platform as its five-door fastback sibling, and features a slightly tweaked third generation K-Series Rover 1.8 liter Turbo engine. But don`t get your hopes too high, because there are only 147 ponies to be run and it takes them about 9 seconds to push the sedan to 62 mph (100km/h).
For now, the MG6 will be available only in the UK, but if all goes well, MG's parent company, China's SAIC, may expand in Europe as well.
